Who we are
The Business Leak Fixer is a revenue consultancy based in Dundee, Scotland. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us. Contact: hello@businessleakfixer.co.uk.
What we collect
When you request an assessment we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), sector and anything you choose to tell us. During an assessment we also record the business figures you share, such as enquiry volumes and average job value.
Why we use it
- To arrange and carry out your Revenue Leak Assessment and send you the written findings.
- To follow up about our services, if you have asked for an assessment or proposal.
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the business: website hosting and form handling, email, a customer relationship management system and a scheduling tool. They process data only on our instructions. Some may store data outside the UK under approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a client, we delete your details within 12 months of our last contact. Client records are kept for six years after our engagement ends, for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@businessleakfixer.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
